Divorce and other Family law cases such as alimony, child custody & support, and estate planning (last will and testament) can become extremely complicated. Tax consequences related to divorce commonly complicate matters even further. Having an experienced divorce lawyer with special training in taxation to assist you with your legal rights and obligations during these difficult times can be extremely important, not to mention save thousands of dollars that may otherwise go to the I.R.S.
If your divorce case potentially involves retirement accounts such as a 401(k), pension, or government benefits, or involves the sale of a residence or stocks, family business, or other assets, tax consequences may become an issue with your divorce. Since Mr. Josefsberg holds a post-doctorate degree (LLM) in taxation, he will be able to assist you in these matters. In fact, Mr. Josefsberg is not aware of any other attorney in the entire Houston area that practices both divorce and tax law.
We offer a free initial consultation. Give us a call or send us an email at greg@divorcehoustontexas.com to schedule an appointment. Emergency, after-hours, and weekend appointments are available when appropriate. Your initial consultation with be with Houston Divorce & Tax Lawyer Gregory T. Josefsberg and not with a paralegal or assistant. We even have free parking!
With an office conveniently located due west of the Galleria Mall on Westheimer, our law office is ready to serve your divorce and family law needs.
We only focus on family law issues such as uncontested divorce and contested divorce, child custody & support, simple and complex property division, post divorce actions such as enforcement, written wills and estate planning.
Our fees for divorce and other family law matters are very reasonable and will be discussed during the initial consultation. We offer both flat fee divorce fees and divorce fees by the hour.
If your divorce is uncontested, you may qualify for a flat fee divorce. You may be able to determine your flat fee divorce fee by visiting my uncontested divorce web site at http://uncontestedhoustondivorce.com/.
If your divorce is contested however, your fee will be based on the number of attorney hours it takes to complete the divorce.
